Major Progress at Pachgaon Namo Bharat Depot
Construction work at the Namo Bharat Rail Depot in Pachgaon, Gurugram, is moving ahead at a rapid pace. The depot is a crucial component of the Delhi–Gurugram–SNB Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor and will serve as the main center for train stabling, maintenance, and operational management. Once completed, the facility will support the smooth functioning of high-speed regional rail services across the corridor.
15 Stations Planned Along the 93.5-Km Corridor
The 93.5-kilometre-long RRTS network is planned with 15 stations connecting key locations across Delhi, Gurugram, Manesar, Dharuhera, Bawal, Neemrana, and SNB. The corridor is designed to offer faster and more reliable transportation for daily commuters, significantly reducing travel times between major residential, industrial, and commercial hubs in the National Capital Region.
Modern Infrastructure to Support Operations
The Pachgaon depot is being developed with advanced infrastructure and modern technology to ensure efficient train operations. Facilities for inspection, maintenance, cleaning, and train management are being incorporated into the project. The depot will play a vital role in maintaining service quality and operational reliability once Namo Bharat trains begin running on the corridor.
Real Estate and Economic Benefits Expected
Improved regional connectivity through the Namo Bharat corridor is expected to drive economic growth and attract new investments in surrounding areas. Real estate experts believe that locations near the proposed stations could witness increased demand for residential and commercial developments. The project is also expected to generate employment opportunities and contribute to the long-term development of Gurugram and neighboring regions.
