KMP Corridor Gets a New Identity
The Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway is set to play a much larger role in NCR’s future development. Under the proposed Regional Plan 2041, the corridor has been identified as a strategic growth zone that could reshape urban expansion across several Haryana districts.
Major Development Planned Around the Expressway
Authorities are focusing on creating a well-planned development belt around the KMP corridor. The proposal encourages a mix of residential, commercial and industrial projects, aiming to generate jobs, attract investment and support long-term economic growth.
Gurugram, Manesar and Sonipat to Benefit
Cities located along the corridor, including Gurugram, Manesar and Sonipat, are expected to witness increased infrastructure activity. Improved connectivity and planned urban expansion could strengthen their position as key economic centres within the NCR region.
Better Connectivity to Support Growth
Transport integration remains a major focus of the plan. New transit hubs, road networks and regional transport links are expected to improve mobility across the corridor, making the area more attractive for businesses, industries and future residents.
