Delhi-Alwar Namo Bharat RRTS Approved
The Government of India has approved the Delhi-Alwar Namo Bharat RRTS corridor to improve connectivity between Delhi, Gurugram, Haryana, and Rajasthan. This high-speed regional rail project will make travel faster, easier, and more comfortable for daily commuters and business travelers.
Travel Time to Reduce Significantly
Once the project is completed, travel time between Gurugram and Alwar is expected to reduce to around 100 minutes. At present, the journey usually takes several hours by road because of heavy traffic on highways. The new rapid rail system will provide a much faster travel option.
Major Cities and Stations on the Route
The proposed corridor will connect important locations such as Sarai Kale Khan, Aerocity, Cyber City, Manesar, Rewari, Neemrana, Bhiwadi, and Alwar. Around 22 stations are planned on the route, with some underground and others elevated.
High-Speed Train Technology
The Namo Bharat trains are designed for high-speed travel and modern passenger comfort. The trains can operate at speeds of up to 160 kmph, helping passengers travel quickly across NCR regions. The project is being developed under the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS).
Boost for Economy and Real Estate
Experts believe the Delhi-Alwar RRTS corridor will increase economic activity in areas like Gurugram, Neemrana, and Bhiwadi. Faster connectivity is expected to attract industries, increase job opportunities, and boost real estate development across the region.
Relief for Daily Commuters
