New Sewage Plan for Gurgaon: ₹1,269 Crore Investment

Gurgaon is getting a major infrastructure boost. The government has planned to spend ₹1,269 crore to fix and modernize the city’s sewer lines. This project is part of the Gurgaon Master Plan-2031 to make sure the city stays clean as more people move into new residential projects.

City Divided into 4 Zones for Better Cleaning

To manage waste properly, the administration has divided Gurgaon into 4 zones. This means instead of one big system, the city will have smaller, local networks. This will help stop sewer overflows and keep the roads clean in busy areas like Dwarka Expressway and New Gurgaon.

Zone 1: Service for Sectors 1 to 37

In Zone 1, which includes Sectors 1 to 23, Sector 34, and Sector 37, all the sewage is now being sent to the Dhanwapur Treatment Plant. This will help improve the living standards in these established sectors and industrial areas of Gurgaon.

Zone 2: Service for Sectors 24 to 76

Zone 2 covers the modern residential hub from Sector 24 all the way to Sector 76. All the waste from these sectors is being treated at the Behrampur Plant. This is great news for people living in high-rise apartments because it ensures a better drainage system and a hygienic environment.
